Dikshit expresses support for Kalmadi

GURGAON - Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Saturday expressed support for Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi, who is facing flak over misappropriation and bunglings in expenditure, saying the end is going to be “pretty and pleasant” one.

Dikshit, speaking at the launch of theme song for the Oct 3-14 mega event, complimented Kalmadi for his job as the chairman of the organising committee.

“I know you have been in lots of problems, but I do believe that when we have problems in the beginning, the end is always very pretty and pleasant one,” she told Kalmadi, who was standing beside her at the dais.
