WWE Night of Champions 2010 Result

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - Night of Champions 2010 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE). It took place on September 19, 2010 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. The event consists of a main event and undercard that feature championship matches and other various matches. Night of Championship was originally known as Vengeance for six years upto 2006 and Vengeance: Night of Championship in 2007.

Night of Championship 2010 featured professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. The contestants portrayed villains and heroes. They followed a series of events that turned out to be a wrestling match or series of matches. It was also the first Night of Champions event to present a non-title match. All total seven matches took place.

A Smackdown rivalry involved the Dolph Ziggler against Kofti Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship. Kingston was defeated by Ziggler on the August 6th episode of Smackdown. In Singles Match, The Big Show defeated CM Punk. Another rivalry involved The Miz against Daniel Bryan for the United States Championship. On the September 6th episode of Raw, Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz and won his United States title.

The other rivalry consisted of an inter-brand match involving the Divas Champion Melina and the Michelle McCool, together known as Lay-Cool, in a Title Unification Match. Finally Melina was defeated by McCool. The main rivalry from the Smackdown brand featured Kane against The Undertaker, his half-brother. It was for the World Heavyweight Championship and Kane became the winner by defeating The Undertaker.

In Tag Team Turmoil match, Cody Rodes and Drew Mclntyre defeated The Hart Dynasty for the WWE Tag Team Title. Besides, in the Six-pack Challenge Elimination Match, Randy Orton defeated Sheamus for the WWE Championship.
