34th National Games postponed

RANCHI - The 34th National Games, which was to be held in Jharkhand’s Ranchi city from December 9 to 22, has been postponed for the sixth time due to Panchayat elections in the State.

Jharkhand Chief Secretary A. K. Singh informed the media about the postponement of the Games.

“The 34th National Games has been postponed because of the Panchayat elections. It will be held in 2011 now,” said Singh.

The last National Games was held in Guwahati in 2007. (ANI)
