Dayton beats Central State, Ohio 45-13
DAYTON, Ohio — Brian Mack and Taylor Harris rushed for two touchdowns each as Dayton beat Central State, Ohio 45-13 Saturday night.
The Flyers (3-1), playing their first night game at home in six years, led 38-0 at the half as Mack scored on 15- and 1-yard runs and Harris scored on 9- and 6-yard runs.
Mack’s first score was set up by Zach McPherson’s fumble recovery on the kickoff after Dayton’s first touchdown. The Flyers also converted Kyle Sebetic’s interception into a 39-yard field goal by Nick Glavin.
The Marauders (1-3) got two touchdown passes from Jeffrey Brooks. Josh Anderson scored on a 34-yarder, and Demetrius Jones scored on a 29-yarder.
The Flyers held the Marauders to 38 yard rushing. Anderson, who came in averaging 122.3 yards a game, was held to 6 yards on seven carries.
