Home secretary reviews CWG security

NEW DELHI - Union Home Secretary G.K. Pillai Sunday met senior Delhi Police officers to review the security preparedness for the Oct 3-14 Commonwealth Games.

The meeting at the Police Headquarters was attended by Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal, Special Commissioners, Joint Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of Police. The officials discussed the steps needed to finetune the security preparations in the capital that is gearing up to host some 7,000 athletes and officials from 71 countries and territories that will be attending the games.
