LONDON - Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez and manager Roberto Mancini were involved in a heated dressing-room bust-up at half time in their team’s 2-1 Premier League win over Newcastle.

According to the Sun, Tevez swung his arms at Mancini, while the latter was heard screaming: “Go **** your mother”.

It is believed that Mancini was furious at his team’s performance on Sunday, but Tevez began to complain that the side was not set up properly and were playing too defensively.

The pair then argued vociferously, with players and coaching staff stepping in to calm the situation, before Mancini left the changing room for his office close by to the players’ tunnel.

The two however did clear the air, and shook hands after the 26-year-old was subbed.

Tevez had previously publicly criticized Mancini’s training methods, and the decision to allow Craig Bellamy to be loaned to Cardiff City in August. (ANI)
