Chicago Blackhawks Defeated By Colorado Avalanche

DENVER, (GaeaTimes.com)- Chicago Blackhawks were the winners of NHL (National Hockey League) last season after they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 6. However this time, the Colorado Avalanche seems to be the potential winners as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in the opening match at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The home team has emerged as the winner after many years in this venue.
The Chicago Blackhawks got a 4-3 overtime defeat to the Colorado Avalanche. The home team on the other hand had an overwhelming victory with a score of 8-6-7 (.694), which has been regarded as the best opening score in the history of National Football League. The team also scored a 22-5-4 all-time in home, of which 8-1-2 mark in the Pepsi center. Patrick Sharp got Chicago a score of 3-3 at 10:25, in the third period, which led to a overtime. Patrick Sharp, of the Chicago Blackhawks made a very good effort by levelling the score once again at 10:25 in the third period. However, Marian Hossa, the Colorado Avalanche made his attempt insufficient as he soon started a heavy Chicago Blackhawks fight back with a tip-in at 18:24.
