‘Pop-Gun’ Pom bowling attack to take on Australia ‘A’ batters in Tasmania

SYDNEY - England’s fast bowling core are likely to miss the Australia A clash in Hobart, Tasmania from November 17-20 in favour of training in Brisbane, the first Ashes Test venue.
English coach Andy Flower says the tourists have such a plan, but are yet to decide whether to enact it.
Reacting to the move, the Sydney Morning Herald quoted the Australian chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch as saying on Tuesday: “How they prepare for the Test is really a matter for England, it’s not a matter for me.”
He added: “Obviously the stronger the opposition, the more testing it is for our players and the more our players are going to learn. But how England prepare is certainly up to them.
“It wouldn’t be a snub at all, they have got to prepare their fast bowlers the best way they think they can,” he said.
