Delighted Broad ready to fire against Aussies at Gabba

HOBART - England’s test bowlers, including lanky Stuart Broad, will fly to Brisbane tomorrow, as they believe they have sufficient match practice to hit prime form against the Aussies on November 25.
Apart from Broad, James Anderson and Steven Finn will miss the final warm-up match here against Australia A, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
England will field a second-string attack for the game and Broad is convinced the decision will help England in their quest to hit the Aussies hard from the start.
England’s meticulous planning is in contrast to Australia’s muddled thinking. The hosts named an incredible 17-man squad because they are so worried about players being short of form and fitness.
Broad said: “I’m delighted we’re going to Brisbane early. We’ve been discussing it for a while, but it was dependent on how we went in the first couple of games here.”
He added: “Every bowler got a lot out of those matches. There were some good spells and, when the ball wasn’t doing much, we had to work on different varieties. I know each bowler feels in good rhythm and is very confident.”
“The next step is getting in the right mental state for the First Test and getting used to the heat and humidity in Brisbane,” Broad said. (ANI)
