LONDON - Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson has said that the Champions League final in Barcelona would always be his favourite match.

“People say we were lucky with two goals in injury-time but it epitomised the character of the team - no surrender, perseverance, and that’s how we won it,” The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.

He also described Jose Mourinho as his favourite manager.

“Jose Mourinho has been phenomenal, a meteoric rise. He can make a joke about himself. Arsene’s work at Arsenal has been fantastic, doing it his way. Some people may question why they haven’t always bought senior players, but he believes in young people and there’s nothing wrong with that, ” Fergie said.

“Bobby Robson was a perfect example for anyone who wants to go into management and doesn’t understand the energy needed for the job. It’s hard to be enthusiastic all your life but that was Bobby,” he added. (ANI)
