Tendulkar is the greatest batsman: Brett Lee

WELLINGTON - Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has described Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest batsman he has ever played against.
When asked who is the best batsman you have bowled to, the 34-year-old said: “Sachin Tendulkar, very easy.”
Lee, however, said that he was ‘lucky’ that he has not bowled in a match situation against Australia.
“To think about bowling to Steve or Mark Waugh, Adam Gilchrist, Justin Langer or Matty Hayden, just to name a few,” the Dominion Post quoted Lee, as saying.
He also rated former New Zealand all-rounder Chris Cairns as a tough guy to bowl to.
“It’s not always the batsmen that have the best technique, it’s also the batsmen that are unpredictable and Cairns is one that I put in that category,” Lee said.
“I bounced him one day at the Basin in a hurricane and he got a top edge and hit it somewhere over a roundabout, about 3km down the road. I think it took 15 minutes to get the ball back,” he added. (ANI)
