Trott feels ‘privileged’ to play in front of record 90,000 supporters at MCG

MELBOURNE - England batsman Jonathan Trott thinks that the challenge of playing in front of over 90,000 supporters on the first day of the traditional Boxing Day Ashes Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground is mind-boggling.
“We’re very excited. It’s a huge opportunity and I’m sure millions of people around the world would love the chance to play in front of such a crowd,” Fox Sports quoted Trott, as saying.
“I feel pretty privileged, but also realize the task in hand and the stakes of playing in an Ashes Boxing Day Test.”
“I’m really looking forward to it, and I know the rest of the guys are as well,” he added.
Victory in the fourth Test will be enough for England to keep the urn, but the momentum has swung towards Australia after their 267 run win in the third Test at Perth’s WACA Ground. (ANI)
