Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs makes fitness DVD

WASHINGTON - Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has become the new face for the world of workout DVDs.
The 37-year-old has released his ‘Giggs Fitness: Power and Strength Through Yoga’ DVD and it is expected to become a best-seller.
Pre-sales demand has already given it an entry in the top 20 best-selling fitness DVDs.
It is up against more traditional names like Jane Fonda, Davina McCall, Claire Nasir and Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard.
“It’s interesting that Ryan Giggs is about to release his own fitness DVD, which has been pre-ordering really well online at hmv.com,” Sky News quoted HMV’s Gennaro Castaldo, as saying.
“As a high-profile and respected footballer, who has always looked after himself and set a fantastic example to others, he must be well-placed to appeal to quite a few health-conscious guys, and so capitalise on this growing trend,” he said. (ANI)
