Khumalo completes Spurs switch

LONDON - Tottenham Hotspur Friday completed the transfer of Bongani Khumalo from South African side Supersport United on a four-and-a-half year deal.
Khumalo impressed during a trial last July persuading Tottenham to pay a fee of 1.5 million pounds ($2.3 million).
The defender, who was born in Swaziland, played for South Africa during the World Cup, and scored in the hosts’ 2-1 group stage win over France.
