Chelsea midfielder Lampard wants to be club boss one day

LONDON - Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has indicated that he would like to take up a management role in football one day.
Regarded as one of the brightest footballers in the game, Lampard used his recent injury lay-off productively to study the action from the stands and analyse what he might have done in current coach Carlo Ancelotti’s situation.
Now he wants to join Liverpool’s Jamie Carragher in pushing ahead to become a top coach once his playing career is over.
The Sun quoted Lampard, as saying: “I’ve had fits and starts in my career where I’ve thought I fancy being a manager then other times where I think I don’t and I want to walk away and get out of the game.”
He added: “Now, I’m a bit more level-headed about it and would like to get my badges and see what happens.” (ANI)
