Mancini says ‘goals, goals, goals’ against Manchester City can blow title chances

LONDON - Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini reckons that the club’s sloppy defence could blow their shot at Premier League glory.
In their last three games City have conceded seven goals, including two in the 4-2 FA Cup third round win over Leicester on Tuesday.
City is currently second in the Premier League points table with 45 points from 23 games.
“If you don’t concede a lot of goals then there is a much better chance you will win something. But not if you concede goal, goal, goal,” the Sun quoted Mancini, as saying.
“At the moment we have to score three or four goals every game to win and it’s impossible.”
“The last three games our defending has been so-so and we must improve. But we have a chance in three competitions so this is good,” he added. (ANI)
