Collapsed foot overbridge built by Hyderabad firm

NEW DELHI - The foot overbridge which collapsed Tuesday near the main Commonwealth Games venue, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, was constructed by the Hyderabad -based PNR Infra, which was contracted by the Delhi government’s Public Works Department.

Delhi government’s Public Works Department minister Raj Kumar Chauhan told IANS: “A rod was being rested on a grid but a clip slipped…resulting in the bridge collapsing.”

“The bridge was constructed by Hyderabad based PNR Infra”.
