Hiddink says that he looks forward to coaching in England again

LONDON - Chelsea coach Guus Hiddink bows out of English football after the FA Cup final with Everton today, but has vowed to come back.

The Dutchman professed he has fallen in love with the Blues but left the door open for a return to England should he get the right offer.

And his confession will have every Premier League club on Hiddink alert.

The Sun quoted him as saying: “I can’t close other options. Say that I want to come back to the Premier League in two years but Chelsea are doing well and say they don’t need me. Then I cannot say I must not go to another club. I think that’s fair enough. I care very much about Chelsea, about the players. You cannot say you wouldn’t.”

At 62, Hiddink is five years younger than Sir Alex Ferguson and could be looked upon as an ideal short-term successor at Manchester United.

He has lost just once during his 21-game stint at Stamford Bridge - 1-0 at Spurs in March - and took Chelsea to within a minute of a second consecutive Champions League final.

Still, he admitted that winning the FA Cup would rank alongside the impressive list of successes he has enjoyed over 30 years as a coach. (ANI)
