LONDON - Manchester United has said that it is willing to sell Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo to Spanish football giants Real Madrid for 75million pounds.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and the club’s money men believe this is the magic number that would allow the transfer to take place.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been eying the Portuguese footballer, who plays as winger for the English Premier League club.
Perez had publicly announced in Spain on Thursday that Ronaldo is his next target.
“Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the best players in the world. Now, I’m going to work to bring Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid,” The Mirrir quoted Perez, as saying.
Earlier, it had been reported that Ronaldo has a 75million pound get-out clause in his United contract. (ANI)
