Brian de Villiers The Prime Reason Behind Melanie Oudin’s Parent’s Impending Divorce

Melanie Oudin’s father, John Oudin, has filed for divorce from his wife Leslie, citing her illicit affair with Melanie’s longtime coach, Brian de Villiers as the primary reason. The media is abuzz with stories and theories of various kinds and more so due to the newly found celebrity status of Melanie Oudin, whose sudden rise in the world of international tennis has been much talked about recently.
Melanie’s father, John alleges that his wife Leslie has been having an affair with their daughter’s tennis coach de Villiers , of which the alleged adultery is an offshoot. It is been reported that John Oudin had filed the divorce papers in the month of July, last year. The couple are parents to three children, all of them girls and got married back in 1989.
The 17 year old Melanie has become the darling of the media due to her recent and unexpected conquests on the tennis court and this news of her parents being on the verge of divorce would attract more unwanted media glare on her. Brian de Villiers has been coaching her since she was 9 years old and de Villiers is also the coach to her sister who is an upcoming tennis player at the college level. Melanie had been playing well in the U.S. Open Championship but unfortunately she lost to Caroline Wozniack of Danish origin in the quarter finals.
Few days ago in an interview with a renowned website, de Villiers was quoted saying about Melanie’s parents that, “… from day one when they dropped the kids off, they have left me alone and never fussed with me about results, what we’re working on–I’ve done the schedule, I do all that”.
