Bears LB Urlacher out with wrist injury
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher has left Chicago’s game with the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter with a wrist injury.
It wasn’t clear which play Urlacher was injured on, but he left on Green Bay’s first drive of the second half on Sunday night. Team officials had no other details about the injury or on his possible return.
Urlacher made several plays in the first half, including when he lowered his right shoulder into the quarterback Aaron Rodgers after he had released the ball on a third down to send him sprawling.
Tight end Desmond Clark took a hard hit after making a catch in the third quarter. He walked off slowly with what the team said was a back injury and did not return. Moments later, left guard Frank Omiyale also went down for several minutes after spraining his ankle and limped off the field.
Bears linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa also left in the first half with a knee injury. The team said he would not return.
