Tuck leaves game with shoulder injury
ARLINGTON, Texas — New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck didn’t return Sunday night against Dallas after injuring his left shoulder when he was tripped by Cowboys tackle Flozell Adams.
Adams was penalized on the play, and Tuck went to the dressing room for X-rays. After the game, Tuck said he was fine as he tossed aside an arm sling he was trying to put on.
“It was bush league,” Tuck said of Adams’ trip. “He did it a few times and they only called one.”
Giants receiver Domenik Hixon left the game after making a 13-yard catch in the first quarter. He never returned after he was announced as questionable.
New York coach Tom Coughlin said he didn’t know the status of Hixon.
