Wyoming coach has surgery to remove kidney stone
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Wyoming coach Dave Christensen underwent surgery to remove a kidney stone and should be on the sidelines when the Cowboys travels to Florida Atlantic this weekend.
The 48-year-old Christensen went to Ivinson Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning because he wasn’t feeling well.
Athletic department spokesman Tim Harkins says Christensen had surgery Tuesday night to remove the kidney stone and was discharged Wednesday morning.
Christensen is in his first year as head coach at Wyoming.
