AUCKLAND - New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond and batsman Peter Fulton have been included in the 13-man squad for the first of Three tests against Pakistan, starting in Dunedin on Tuesday.

This will be the first Test match for Bond after two years, as his career was first stalled by persistent injuries and then by his decision to play from 2008 in the Indian Cricket League tournament, The New Zealand Herald reports.

Since his comeback in September, the 34-year-old has played at the Champions Trophy one-day tournament in South Africa and in New Zealand’s one-day and Twenty20 matches against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates earlier this month.

Bond will spearhead a pace attack, which also includes Chris Martin, Iain O’Brien and Daryl Tuffey.

Meanwhile, Fulton has been recalled to the side after a strong domestic form. (ANI)
