PASADENA, CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Texas Longhorns had a trying day at the game against the University of Alabama. On one hand, they lost two of their key players, Colt McCoy and Garrett Gilbert, the latter coming into the game as the replacement of the former, as Colt McCoy suffered a sustained shoulder injury. Moreover, Garrett Gilbert also had to leave the game on account of an injury. However, before he did, Garrett Gilbert, the Texas quarterback, pulled Texas back into the game.

At the time Garrett Gilbert was brought into the game, the Texas Longhorns were pretty much lagging behind. Thankfully, Garrett Gilbert, the Texas quarterback pulled Texas back into the game. His entry into the game marked a rise in the score of the University of Texas. In fact, after he took the field, it seemed for sometime that the Texas Longhorns might, still, snatch a victory. That is, till he fumbled on being smashed by the Alabama linebacker, Erik Anders, and missed the shot, resulting in two winning touchdowns by the University of Alabama.

Later on, Garrett Gilbert commented that the game had been a great experience for him, something that he learned a lot from. The quarterback was obviously pleased with all the praise he got, and appreciated the support that he got from Colt McCoy himself. In fact, although the Texas Longhorns had lost the game to the University of Alabama, their score was much better than it could have been, thanks to Garrett Gilbert, the quarterback of the Texas Longhorns, who pulled Texas back into the game.
