PRETORIA - Cricket South Africa (CSA) Tuesday did not confirm reports of coach Mickey Arthur’s resignation.

According to media reports, Arthur’s resignation is a result of his tensions with captain Graeme Smith.

“I cannot say anything other than that Mr Arthur will hold a press conference tomorrow to announce what he wants to announce,” CSA spokesperson Michael Owen-Smith was quoted as saying in local media.

The briefing will be held at a hotel in East London Wednesday morning. CSA chief executive officer Gerald Majola will also address media at the briefing.

The news comes four days before the national team leaves for a tour of India, where they are due to play two tests and three one-day internationals.
