LUCKNOW - A group of visually challenged players overcame their impediment to show their mettle on the cricket field here on Wednesday.

Organised by the State government, the tournament was held to encourage the participation of the visually challenged youngsters in cricket.

“We get inspiration to move ahead in life and prove to the people that even though visually challenged we can do anything,” said Mayank Tripathi, a player.

The four-day tournament is held every year and provides a platform for these players to rise above their impediment. (ANI)
