Tiger woods highly emotional speech today touched on his religion and future plans.

Tiger Woods apologized for his “irresponsible and selfish behavior”. He said that he and his wife have begun the process of figuring out how much damage he had caused their marriage and their family. He denied that Elin Nordegren had hit him false.

Tiger Woods said that he has a long way to go to get better. He was in sex rehab for 45 days from December to early February. Tiger said that he has never used performance enhancing drugs.

He will return to golf one day, but that he doesn’t know when.

Tiger Woods said that in rehab he has learned to re-embrace his spirituality. He said that he grew up with buddhism in his life and that it has not been as big a part of his life in recent years.

At the end of his apology Woods hugged his mother and a few friends before receding once again.

As one of the rare geniuses in golfing, we hope that he can soon put behind his sordid affairs and take back control of his life. We also hope that he can retain his marriage with Elin, not just for them but also their children. Let’s hope the healing process has now begun.
