Breaking the 25-game winning streak of the Butler Bulldogs who have in this tournament come up as a tough opponent, the Duke Blue Devils captured the NCAA Championship Game 2010 trophy for the first time since 2001. The team showed an amazing coordination among the players who went on for a defense play and put some brilliant three pointer shots. From the beginning of the NCAA Championship Game 2010, Duke Blue Devils seemed to rule. On Monday night, if the Duke Blue Devils team seemed all determined to take the trophy home, then the Butler Bulldogs were fighting to get the underdog tag out of their team 0nce and forever. The key players of the Duke Blue Devils were Kyle Singler who scored 19 points, Nolan Smith who added 13 points and Jon Scheyer contributed 15 to the winning team. Till the end of the game it remained highly indecisive as the Butler Bulldogs got two chances to win the game. However, at the end the Lucas Oil Stadium witnessed Duke Blue Devils win the NCAA Championship 2010 tournament.

After the win the coach of the winning team Mike Krzyzewski seemed overjoyed with his team’s performance but said that the win was not an easy one. Kyle Singler mentioned to the media that the team had to fight for the title even at the last minute of the game as the Butler Bulldogs were in no mood to give away the NCAA Championship Game 2010.

That was a great game. It came down to the last shot too. Who would have thought to have 2 school that not many gave a chance can make it to the final 2. Duke was the favor in the game having the higher seed and the history behind the school. Even though couch k said he isn’t going to the nets actually believe him? It be a shame if he do, because of the history he have with the school.
