Dez Bryant Goes To Dallas Cowboys

DESOTO (GaeaTimes.com)- Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has ultimately become part of a team for which he always wanted to play. In the very first round of the NFL draft pick this season, Dez Bryant was the 24th overall draft pick for the Dallas Cowboys. The player received the call from the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones two hours after the first round of the NFL draft pick began on Thursday night.
Dez Bryant was excited about the new and great turn that his career has taken after his much troubled past. He was suspended for three games after he lied to the NCAA about his relationship with Deion Sanders a former NFL star. After the draft pick, an emotional Dez Bryant said that he was praying that the Dallas Cowboys team to pick him up and that he could not believe that his prayers have been heard. The overwhelmed Dez Bryant repeated many a times in front of the media that he could just not believe that he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
Dez Bryant came under media scrutiny after his lying to the NCAA. Media raised many questions regarding his character which overshadowed his draft pick chances as well. Many NFL aficionados thought that other teams did not draft Dez Bryant due to his past. However, Dez Bryant maintained that he considers himself a good person who has never abused drugs, never had trouble with the law and had committed no crime. On his expectation from the draft pick, Dez Bryant mentioned that all he wanted was to remain in the NFL and had never thought of the rounds.
