SOUTH CAROLINA (GaeaTimes.com)- It is true that the team Carolina Panthers had to shell out a lot of money to get its hands on Armanti Edwards, the former Appalachian State QB. However, the team management is quite sure that the player will deliver in time and fulfill the expectation. Marty Hurney who is the Carolina Panthers general manager said that the team can expect solid performance from the player within a year. However the player will have to train himself under the guidance of the coach and senior players for that, he added. He feels that the player has some qualities that need to be tapped.

It is as a QB that Armanti Edwards earned a name in his career. He also bagged a pair of national titles which made him famous and rich. He is expected to shine as a returner and a receiver in the team. The versatility of the player is his biggest asset according to the team management. The player is reputed for his speed and intensity which is difficult to match for others. Armanti Edwards himself is very excited about getting drafted by the team and he said that he will try to give the team his level best. He however said that the learning process would be a long one for him.

Armanti Edwards may seem a tad undersized compared with many of the contemporary players but he has the agility and skill that beat other hands down. He may be below six feet but the NFL veterans gives him a thumbs up for his qualities.
