BOSTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Celebrities and sportsmen with no Twitter accounts is hard to locate these days. ‘Athlete Interactive’, the firm which takes care of NBA player Paul Pierce’s Twitter account has made a formal statement which says that Paul Pierce’s account with Twitter has indeed been hacked. Since the news of hacking has surfaced, his Twitter account has been cross-checked various times to confirm its authenticity.

The fans of the star who are also followers of Paul Pierce’s Twitter postings are not convinced that the messages on his account have been written by him. So there are also doubts about the legitimacy of the Twitter account in question. It is true that there have been a lot of interesting tweets in the last couple of days on Paul Pierce’s twitter page which in the first place put grave doubts on the fact that they had been posted by him in the first place. Tweets like “You know we going crazy tonight. sorry Dwight.” and another which says “Anybody got a BROOM?” after the win in the Celtics game raised eyebrows.

What is more surprising or rather interesting is the fact that while most of the posts on Paul Pierce’s Twitter page have been submitted via text or through Twitter’s own website, the controversial tweets had been submitted via a non-browser agent called Twitterific. While this sounds all so strange and only helps to confirm the fact that the account has been hacked, no confirmation has been received from the player himself. The world is waiting for Paul Pierce’s statement, a statement which will say that he is not the writer of these sentences.
