LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Los Angeles Lakers won in the game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday in the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Moreover, at the beginning of the game, Jeffrey Osborne performed the Star Spangled Banner. Considered to be a lucky charm for the Los Angeles Lakers, Jeffrey Osborne had been performing in almost every final played by the team. He had performed for the first time in the 1980s, when the Los Angeles Lakers managed to snatch an almost impossible victory, again against the Boston Celtics. Therefore, when the announcement was made of Jeffrey Osborne’s performance before the beginning of the game, popular opinion said the team would definitely emerge to be the winner.
Jeffrey Osborne took the state just before the game began. True to style, with one hand placed firmly on the left side of his chest, the singer managed to enthrall the audience with his rendition of the national anthem of the United States, and before long, had the entire crowd on its feet, singing along with him. The performance was accompanied by huge cheers and accolades from the audiences’ stands, especially from sections that seated the fans of the Los Angeles Lakers.

He is considered to be a lucky charm for the team, as, popular belief states, the Los Angeles Lakers have never lost a single game that was preceded by a performance from Jeffrey Osborne.
