PEBBLE BEACH, CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Disgraced golfer Tiger Woods roared back into contention at the 110th U.S. Open Championship on Saturday when he surged ahead to reserve the third position at the Pebble Beach. The defamed golfer delivered a third round 66 which was reminiscent of the old Tiger Woods, the way he was known to the world prior to the revelations of the tawdry tales of marital infidelity rocking his personal as well as professional life.

Despite the fact that Tiger Woods had commenced the day in the 25th place, he cruised back into the top three slot by the end of Saturday’s game owing to the stunning performance that he displayed. As the world number golfer goes into the final round of the championship that is going to be played on Sunday, he remains just five shots behind of American golfer Dustin Johnson while he is just two shot adrift of the second slot holder, Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland. Expectations are running immensely high from the ace golfer gears up to play in the final round of the tournament with all his fans desperately hoping for a much-needed victory.

Tiger Woods made a comeback into his professional golfing career in the Masters earlier in the month of April and finished in a tie for fourth. Since then, he has been unable to display the golfing prowess that he is known for until Saturday’s game where he was successful in delivering his best round since returning from his self imposed exile. However, it remains to be seen whether Tiger Woods is able to continue his amazing feat and clinch his 15th major title.
