Nigeria leads South Korea 1-0 in World Cup
DURBAN, South Africa — Nigeria is leading 1-0 over South Korea 30 minutes into their final Group B match as both teams vie for a spot in the knockout round.
Kalu Uche scored in the 12th minute, stretching his right leg to meet a cross from Chidi Odiah.
The Koreans missed two early chances in the fast-paced game, by Lee Chung-yong and Ki Sung-yong. But the Nigerians steadily gained dominance.
Nigeria has zero points while South Korea has three, equal on points and goal difference with Greece. Argentina has six.
