Nadal increases ATP rankings lead with Wimbledon trophy

HAMBURG - Rafael Nadal stretched his lead atop the ATP tennis rankings to almost 4,000 points with a second Wimbledon title.
The Spaniard Nadal leads the way in the list issued Monday with 10,745 points. Novak Djokovic of Serbia moved into second with 6,905 while Swiss Roger Federer dropped to third with 6,885 - his lowest placing since 2003 after a quarter-final exit in London.
Wimbledon finalist Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic moved from 13th to a career-high number eight.
