Bolt returns from Achilles injury to win Lausanne
LAUSANNE, Switzerland — Usain Bolt has won the 100 meters at the Athletissima meet in 9.82 seconds, matching the fastest time this year.
The Jamaican returned from injury to beat countryman Yohan Blake and Churandy Martina of the Netherlands Antilles in a race specially created for Bolt after he pulled out of the 200 meters in the Diamond League event.
Blake was second in 9.96 seconds and Martina third in 10.16 seconds.
Asafa Powell also clocked 9.82 seconds this year, in Rome on June 10.
