Jeremy Green Arrested!

Los Angeles, (GaeaTimes.com)- Jeremy Green, the son of Dennis Green was arrested last Thursday, July 8, 2010 on a child pornography charge. The sports columnist of ESPN and NFL studio analyst was charged with child pornography, possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The news came a shock to his family as well as his fans although he is not yet convicted of his charges.

The police has not yet revealed about Jeremy Green charges as the warrant was sealed. The Bristol Police Criminal Investigations Division members arrested him on last Thursday around 5 p.m. in a Southern Hotel where he was staying for reasons unknown. The police said that Jeremy Green was held on a $750,000 bail and he is still in prison. There is still no confirmation if he has appointed any lawyer on his behalf. The ESPN spokes person Mike Soltys has said that Jeremy Green is the contributing writer for ESPN.com where he answers NFL questions from web readers. Other than this ESPN has not commented anything else about him. The news of his arrest has created a wave among the sports channel as everyone is curious to know if the reports are true.

Jeremy Green, who currently works for Scouts, Inc was previously sacked from his post of “Football Today” podcast due to some personal reasons. However, later he cited the reason as his tiff with the show’s producer Jay Soderberg. It is said that Jeremy Green might be sacked from ESPN if he is found guilty of his charges. However, Jeremy Green has not yet issued any statement regarding his arrest. It is expected that if he has appointed any lawyer, then he would issue a clarification on Jeremy Green’s arrest.
