Special train to run during Games

AGRA - A new and attractively designed Shatabdi Express will run between New Delhi and this Uttar Pradesh city during the Commonwealth Games, railway authorities said here Monday.

The special train will run from Oct 4-16, Divisional Railway Manager Devesh Mishra told IANS.

He said the compartments will be painted differently and the train will have amenities like a pantry car and a restaurant.

Also, TV sets will be placed inside the compartments for the visitors to see Games, Mishra said.

“Right now the Agra Cantt station is being spruced up and facilities are being added to welcome visitors during the Games,” he said.
