SOUTH BEND (GaeaTimes.com)- It was one of the most interesting matches that the 80,795 audience enjoyed in the Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football and Michigan Wolverines football team faced each other on the field to win one of the most anticipated matches of this season. The Michigan Wolverines Football Team managed to beat the Notre Dame football team at 28-24 as Denard Robinson staked his claim as the forerunner and his team Michigan Wolverines staked their claim as a top-five team in the football fraternity.
Denard Robinson was the show stealer in the match as he was the only one player who ran for 258 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 244 yards and a touchdown. The player drove his team more than 70 yards in the final three minutes for the winning touchdown. The most important time was when he was in the final drive, the player passed for 55 yards and ran for 17 yards which gave the team a winning chance. In the whole game Michigan Wolverines put up 532 yards against 532 yards and Denard Robinson had 502 yards.
The coach of Michigan Wolverines football team was excited and happy when the team came forward with their amazing play. Coach Rich Rodriguez said in one of his statements that the team had some tremendous quarterbacks which led the team to its victory. It was a bit of difficult take on Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football as their player Dayne Crist had to leave the field at the first half. The Irish coach said about Denard Robinson that he got “banged” in the first series and then it was not clear enough to get back to the game.
