On Monday night the Kansas City Chiefs faced the San Diego Chargers for the season opening game and there is no denying the fact that if the players of San Diego Chargers were good then that of the Kansas City Chiefs were brilliant. The Kansas City Chiefs held back the four-time defending AFC West champions, San Diego Chargers to 14 and won the game by six points with the scoreboard reading 21-14 in favor of the former.

On Monday night while the enthusiasms of the audience decreased a little at the beginning of the game due to the rain, it soared up once the players took to the field. In the first quarter of the game, it was San Diego Chargers who first posted a lead although for a short time period. The San Diego Chargers who had won five games against the Kansas City Chiefs at a stretch including 37-7 and 43-14 last season, on Monday night posted a 7-0 lead with just 1:52 minutes left for first quarter of the game.
