Jacksonville shuts out Webber International 41-0
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Josh McGregor threw for three touchdowns and Jacksonville overcame three lost fumbles and a blocked field goal to shut out Webber International 41-0 on Saturday night.
McGregor passed for 327 yards and Rudell Small finished with 153 yards on the ground to help the Dolphins (2-1) total 530 yards on offense. It was the 15th time in Small’s career he has rushed for more than 100 yards in a game.
Jacksonville, which led 10-0 at halftime, scored two touchdowns in almost a three-minute span between the third and fourth quarters. McGregor, who went 17-for-31 passing, threw touchdown passes to Rodney Sumter and Joshua Philpart.
Philpart led the Dolphins with 71 yards on four catches.
The Dolphins scored 2:07 later when McGregor hit Elliott Finkley on a 9-yard touchdown pass.
Torrance Moise had three interceptions for Webber International (2-2).
