Lightning causes UCF-Kansas State suspension
MANHATTAN, Kan. — Play has resumed in the Central Florida-Kansas State game after a delay of 1 hour and 26 minutes.
The game was halted with 12 minutes, 5 seconds left in the scoreless first quarter because of heavy lightning associated with a storm rapidly advancing on the stadium.
A few minutes after the field was cleared, heavy rain began falling. Play resumed at 1:15 p.m.
