New Jersey For Team India For ODI

CHANDIGARH, PUNJAB (GaeaTimes.com)- The Indian cricket team now has new jersey and the stars were seen walking the ramp sporting the new apparel. Official apparel sponsors Nike showcased the new jersey at a ramp show in Chandigarh with some of the biggest stars in the national team sporting the jerseys. Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha attended the function where Nike launched the jersey and spoke about the upcoming series against Australia.
Sachin Tendulkar revealed to the media at the function that he plans to play for his country as long as he enjoys playing cricket. The Indian batting maestro has earlier said that he is interested to play in the World Cup next year. Harbhajan Singh, who usually hogs the limelight in most of India’s matches against Australia said that he was looking forward to the series and the encounters with the Aussies. He said that the encounters were a result of the mutual love and respect that he and the Australians had for each other. The off spinners is one of the keys to the Indian side as the Indian conditions, combined with his turn and bounce, could be a huge challenge for the young and relatively inexperienced Australian batting line-up. Zaheer Khan spoke about the importance of good apparel and was praises for the new team India jersey.
Indian opener Gautam Gambhir who also walked the ramp with the other stars sporting the new jersey. Known for his incredible test form, the Delhi Daredevil said that he was also looking forward to the test series against the world champions.
