Georgia State beats Morehead State 37-10
ATLANTA — Drew Little threw for a 287 yards and four touchdowns to lead Georgia State to a 37-10 over Morehead State on Saturday.
Little, who completed 21 of 29 passes and no interceptions, threw touchdown passes of 12, 2, 6 and 12 yards for the Panthers (3-2).
Danny Williams caught eight balls for 101 yards to became the first player in the first-year program’s history to surpass 100 receiving yards in a game.
The aggressive Georgia State defense frustrated a Morehead State offense that scored 45 points last week, limiting the Eagles (2-3) to 280 yards — 50 on the ground — and forced four turnovers.
Morehead State quarterback Zach Lewis was under pressure throughout the game, completing 27 of 44 passes for 230 yards and two interceptions. Lewis threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jaison Yoshimra for the Eagles’ only touchdown.
