LONDON - Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is delighted with his fine scoring form and admits this amazing achievement against Arsenal has him baffled.
With his good form, Chelsea went four points clear at the top, as he notched 13 goals in 13 clashes with Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.
“I don’t know how to explain my record against Arsenal. Maybe it is just a question of being in the right place at the right time. It is good to go into the break now with a gap at the top, good to know we are four points ahead,” said a delighted Drogba.
The Stamford Bridge goal-machine put the Blues in front before defender Alex scored from a stunning free-kick, The Sun reports.rogba, however, admitted he complained to boss Carlo Ancelotti about the team’s defending.
“We were not defending well. We were not getting into the right positions. We didn’t do what we were supposed to. In the second half we were much, much better,” the paper quoted Drogba, as saying.
“We showed more power, stayed in position better and played the ball out to Ashley Cole,” he added. (ANI)
