Tamil Nadu draw Bengal in Ranji Trophy

CHENNAI - Tamil Nadu and Bengal picked up a point apiece after the Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match ended in a draw here Saturday.

Only 43 overs were bowled over four days, two of which were completely washed out due to winter showers. Tamil Nadu in their first innings were 130 for four when play was called off on the fourth day after just two overs were bowled.

After five outings, Tamil Nadu are on 11 points to Bengals nine and they next play Mumbai and Saurashtra, respectively, from Dec 8.
