Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere arrested for bust-up with cabbie

LONDON - Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been arrested and bailed over an alleged bust-up with a taxi driver in London.

Scotland Yard bailed the 19-year-old until next month.

“We can confirm a man aged 19 was arrested on Sunday for a public order offence,” the Sun quoted a Scotland Yard spokesman, as saying.

The taxi driver had claimed that he faced a four-letter barrage from a rowdy group in Paddington, London, when he explained that he was off-duty on December 19.

Wilshere is alleged to have been part of the group.

Earlier, in November, the Arsenal midfielder was cautioned for assault. (ANI)
