Djokovic eliminated from French Open

PARIS — Novak Djokovic was eliminated from the French Open in the third round.

The fourth-seeded Serb lost to No. 29 Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday.

Djokovic reached the semifinals at Roland Garros each of the last two years and made the quarterfinals in 2006.

Djokovic was playing for the third straight day. He started his previous match on Thursday, but it was suspended by darkness with the Serb leading by two sets. He closed out the match Friday.
