SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Former Duke point guard Greg Paulus says he’ll be bringing the work ethic and winning culture he learned from coach Mike Krzyzewski to the starting quarterback job at Syracuse.
Paulus won the job this week after transferring and getting an NCAA waiver to play football as a graduate student at Syracuse.,
He was a record-setting and highly touted quarterback in high school in Syracuse.
Paulus said Wednesday he’s received the support of his teammates, including Sophomore Ryan Nassib, who had been No. 1 on the depth chart.
Paulus says he’s hoping for a career in broadcasting, coaching or playing in the NFL.
